Celebrate good times….

The birthday celebrations have continued with a BBQ on Sunday with my fab family, celebrating not just mine but also my lovely nieces 18th birthday too as we share a birthday.

It was a beautifully hot, sunny afternoon, great to catch up with everyone. I had my first ever taste of Gin and it was surprisingly good, this was followed by some wine and a snooze on the way home~(I wasn’t driving!).

Last night we went to Brighton and had a fantastic time on the I360 I have to confess that I’m not a fan of heights and as we waited watching the sun begin to set in the early evening sky I was quite amazed as to how high it actually is. In fact it reaches 450 feet and gives an amazing 360 degree view.

We boarded and found plenty of room to move around and take in the breathtaking scenery.

Their was no need to be worried about the height the capsule was spacious and I was soon wandering around enjoying the view from all different angles.

We had some pink champagne from the bar before returning to the ground. It was great evening one I would love to experience again.https://www.facebook.com/BritishAirwaysi360/

Today we went to https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Forge-Slindon/549215165250405 and had afternoon tea (another birthday treat) the setting was lovely, so peaceful and colourful with beautiful flowers where we sat in the sunshine.
The food was fantastic and was accompanied by some Prosecco and the most amazing cake.                   The company was lovely too!

What a lucky girl I’ve been~we are finishing the day with more wine~oops and a dip in the hot tub, I think I’ll need at least a month to recover from all of this~maybe it’s my age? Cheers everyone.❤️x
