Words that should be spoken

Some days are made for reflection, not the looking in the mirror kind of reflection, the thoughtful kind. Either looking backwards or forwards thinking about where life’s journey is taking you, where you are going and indeed where you have been.

That’s why I love the power of words so much particularly the written word.
Whilst it’s so so true that actions do Indeed speak louder than words as with everything in life there is a time and a place for it all.

I love to write even if it’s just about everyday nonsense which makes up parts of my crazy life. I love to write and use words to express things and when I can to share happiness too.

Written words can and do say and mean so much and what’s more you can revisit them and just like a photograph or a song they can change your mood in an instant.

We all use so much modern technology today but something that I wish for especially as my children grow up in this fast moving, ever changing world is that the power of words expressed vocally or written is never lost.

Happy Friday everyone.❤x

Chapters

Life is like a book,it’s made up of stories, pictures and words.

Some chapters are fun and exciting, some are slow and may even seem a little dull.
Some we want to last forever and never end.
Others we want to skip through quickly hoping that better things are waiting for us around that corner, with a turn of a page or 2.

These chapters are shaped by our lives, our hopes, dreams and disappointment.

They are narrated by us,read by others and at times judged by those who feel they have to the right to do so.

Some people may even be jealous of your story, to that I say go ahead and write your own story, fill your book with chapters of love and happiness.

May the happy pages outweigh the sad ones, may the good times prevail. May love guide and protect you whilst you navigate this crazy life.

All the while never forgetting that it’s never too late to turn a page and use that blank paper to rewrite your dreams and bring them to life.

To everyone who makes my very own book the bright, colourful, funny, crazy, page turning ‘novel’ that it is, I thank you all from the bottom of my heart, you are all fabulous and I love sharing the highs and lows with you all.
Much love.❤x

Crazy little round up

This week is flying by and suddenly its Saturday. We have been as busy as ever-this weeks antics have included a whistle stop visit to Surrey to see family and have our hair cut too-shout out to my big sister for that!

We have enjoyed going along the seafront where the children’s preferred mode of transportation was a scooter, roller skates and indeed a skateboard. Us adults kept our feet firmly on the ground and enjoyed a catch up aswell as a cheeky coffee and a rather large Eccles cake!

Yesterday was a trip to Brighton on the train, where my son was subjected to the joys of shopping with a teenage girl who insisted on going into every shop we came across, needless to say after he had been in the two shops he needed he was keen to get home.

In other news I’m feeling particularly grown up after receiving my brand new business cards, this was cause for much excitement in the crazy household, to celebrate I decided that I simply had to buy myself a new notebook (not that I need any excuse to do so,I just love them!)as their are lots of exciting things to look out for, in the mean time watch this space.

Having spent most of the afternoon working on ‘Crazy little thing called love’ with the help of my lovely fella (he really does help out a lot with my blog!)its almost time for me to get ready to go out and celebrate my very good friends birthday-I am looking forward to an evening of gossip and giggles.

Before an early start tomorrow when I shall be busy preparing a big family roast for us 6 plus Mum and Dad, good times all round I say.

Heres hoping you’ve had a good week filled with chocolate-if not yours then at least helping the kids out with theirs!!!

Happy Saturday.❤️x
